About Amal Mattu

Amal joined the faculty in Emergency Medicine at the University
of Maryland in 1996. He has received more than twenty teaching
commendations including ACEP’s highest honour for teaching — the
‘Outstanding Contributions to Education Award’. The author of numerous
textbooks, Amal is internationally acclaimed as one of Emergency
Medicine’s finest educators.​

About Arun Sayal

Arun is an Emergency Physician at North York General Hospital and
on faculty at the University of Toronto. Adding weekly work in the
Fracture Clinic and assisting on Orthopedic trauma cases in
the OR helps him better understand why ortho diagnoses are commonly
missed / mismanaged. He created and leads CASTED, the ED ortho course,
and has won over 20 teaching awards.
